Justice, Unity and Peace

This eBook has been compiled from a series of articles published in The Bahá’í World https://bahaiworld.bahai.org/library/category/oneness-justice/ and grouped together on the topic of Justice, Unity and Peace, a topic that is at the forefront of the world especially in recent years as racism, gender inequality, religious prejudices, health inequalities arising from the disparity between the rich and the poor, climate change and materialism have all brought humanity to a crisis point.

‘Abdu’l-Bahá impressed on us the urgent need to focus on the root causes of the ills affecting society. He especially warned of the dangers of racism and nationalism, which define the individual according to material parameters such as bodily appearance and the accident of place of birth, and the error in prioritizing human beings and entire societies according to these factors, such that inequality and injustice is the outcome, which in turn fosters hatred and alienation. Instead, we must see humanity as one, one race, all inhabiting this beautiful planet.
